 On May 7th, Pace High School had their annual Prom dance. During the dance there was dancing, food, and drinks, but more importantly the crowing of the prom Queen and King took place. This year it was a little more special than in years past… there was a tie. Announced second was the Queen, which was won by Mackenzie Kummer. When asked how it feels to when Prom Queen, she said “It’s an honor to be Prom Queen of Pace High. As the year is almost over this is the perfect way to cap my high school career!” The King was announced first, or should I say kings, for the first time is Pace High School history there was a tie for the race, which had Jayson Alford and Grayson Rieck winning. When asked about what it’s like to be apart of the first tie in Pace High School Prom running, Alford said, “It's great to win, and even better to share the honor with Grayson- a guy who deserves it.” Safe to say Pace High Prom 2023 was a successful and historical night!
