Pace High Indoor Percussion Finalists!
Pace High School Indoor Percussion traveled to Dayton, OH last week for the 2024 WGI World Championships - PSO Finals They placed 7 th in the Nation in Percussion Scholastic Open Class. https://wgi.org/scores/# This group performed 3 times (Thur-Fri-Sat) for Pre-Lims, Semi-Finals and Finals. Prelims- Pace was in round 3 of 4 rounds and placed 2 nd place (44 groups competing) Semi-Finals- Pace in round 2 of 2, tied for 4 th place (24 groups competing) Finals- Pace placed 7 th out of 15 finalists This amazing group of percussionists paid their own way through fundraising and parent contributions, practiced multiple evenings per week and held many Saturday Camps 8am-9pm and performed locally and regionally throughout the season, undefeated, to be invited to WGI World in Dayton. Pace Indoor Percussion were the "underdogs" going into this steep competition and showed the country that Pace, FL has what it takes to be recognized for their talent, integrity, heart, sportsma
