Patriot Night 2022

Who is ready for FNL? Last week, Friday Night Lights ranged from 5-6 year old Mighty Mites all the way through Pace High Varsity players. Age groups scrimmaged, along with the cheerleaders and band performing. Don't miss out on this Friday when we take on Ft. Walton Beach in the Kick-off Classic at Home at 7:30. The theme is red, white, and blue, so make sure you are looking as patriotic as possible! You can even catch the PARA football players and cheerleaders at Milton on Saturday for their Jamboree.

Freshman vs. Junior Varsity

The annual game for bragging rights for the whole year, comes down to 30 minutes on the field. Who were you going for- freshman or JV? Big plays were made, but when it came down to it, JV was able to win by 3 scores. Evan Beckham, 10, said, "It was great to get out there and run people over again." Even though the freshman lost, they learned a lot about what it takes to play at the high school level. Ahmian Rambo, 9, said, "It's exciting to go against another team instead of scrimmaging ourselves."

Varsity

The night capped off with an amazing scrimmage with the varsity team. Offense vs. Defense going at it for one half, under the Friday night lights. A great play by Brayden Gates, 11 started them off, as he got a fumble recovery and took it to the house. Gates said "I wanted to set the tempo for the season, and I did exactly that." Varsity can't wait to start the season off great this Friday. Hope to see you guys there!
