Homecoming Week Recap 1/4

Dress Up Days

To end the football season, Pace High School celebrated Homecoming week from October 30th through November 3rd Students were given dress up themes for each day of the week to celebrate the final home game. Preparation prior to the dress up days, students gathered their outfits for a full week of school spirit.

To begin the week, students were assigned the theme "Generations Day." Separated through grade levels, freshman dressed as babies, sophomores were middle schoolers, juniors were parents, and seniors were senior citizens. Tuesday, the theme fell on Halloween, so students dressed in their costumes. Wednesday, everyone collaborated with a friend to come up with an iconic duo. To represent the proud red, white, and blue, patriot day was assigned on Thursday. Finally, as the week came to an end, everyone dressed in their best pirate attire for "Hook Hollis," which was later switched when Hollis had to drop from playing the football team. Instead, Pace played Lafayette and changed the theme to "Hook the Hornets." in the end, students repped their school spirit, while the juniors came out on top, winning the title, most dressed up.
