Inside The WWII History Museum

On April 24th, Pace High's AP and Honors Government and History classes visited the famous WWII Museum in New Orleans, Louisiana. The students and teachers left Pace at 7:45 and finally arrived at the museum after a 3-hour trip. They spent 3 hours at the museum before leaving at 3:30 and arriving back at the school around 8. During their time at the museum, the students were able to experience 3 events put on by the museum.

After the students arrived, they were served lunch and saw a 45-minute show, where 3 actors played real-life sisters from that time period and sang songs that were made during the war. After the show, the students were released to tour. Brooklyn Muncy, 12, had this to say, “It was a fun trip. We were left to tour individually and were able to see both sides of the museum. They had a lot of interesting displays.” The students then had the option to watch a 4D movie about the war before they left to return home. Overall, the students had an enjoyable time and were able to learn a lot from the museum.
