Sept. 25th- Sept. 29th Weekly Recap

On September 25th, Boys Golf competed at Marcus Point, playing Catholic, Milton, & Tate. Pace finished with a total of 201 strokes.

Thursday, September 27th, First Priority met at the flag pole early that morning to celebrate the National Day of Prayer.

Thursday night, the Lady Patriot volleyball team hosted their annual senior night, beating the Washington Wildcats in 3 sets.The gym was packed with students and parents to support our seniors!

Friday, September 29th, Varsity Football won against Gulf breeze, breaking through after halftime. The final score was 55-24, now making their record 4-1.

Also, throughout the week many clubs and classes have begun various activities! Forensics performed a fingerprint analysis lab using finger paint. Mock trial also had their first meeting, discussing plans for the upcoming year.

Pace High School is involved with various activities that we can’t wait to capture all year!

Nall      Thursday Night, as the final out hit Emma Hicks's glove, the Pace Patriots cliched their fifth consecutive trip to the state final four. The Patriots took a 4-0 victory over the Navarre Raiders in the two teams' fourth matchup this season.  Starting in the circle, Hannah DeMarcus pitched a complete game shutout, allowing just one hit over seven innings. She struck out nine Raiders and issued no walks. Pace vs Pine Forest

 Pace vs Pine Forest The Pace Patriots enter the field to take on the Pine Forrest Eagles on Thursday Night.  Photo By E. Nall    Pace quarterback Ben Tyner summarized the Patriots' win over the Pine Forest Eagles: "It was not pretty, but we got the job done." The Patriots beat the Eagles 29-6 to move to 7-1 on the season.    Pine Forest received the ball to start the first half of the Thursday night matchup, but a disruptive Patriots defense caused the Eagles to punt on their first drive. Pace vs Milton

     Pace players lift up the Bronze Helmet after a 48-0 win over Milton. Photo By E. Nall Friday Night was no new event for Santa Rosa County. Pace and Milton, cross-town rivals, met at Milton High School for the 44th matchup between the schools. The Patriots took home the infamous bronze helmet after a 48-0 shutout over the Panthers.         Milton received the ball to start the first half, but a second down pass from Cade Pierce to an open receiver was picked off and returned to the endzone by Patriots linebacker Bowen Iorg to bring the game to 6-0 forty-five seconds into play.  Bowen Iorg returns an interception for a touchdown in a game against Milton.
